Where to cut it

Any shop with a CNC router can cut it: they do not need to know VanCut. This is what they need to have and what you send them.

1 · The shop

What it needs to have

  • A CNC router with a 1220 × 2440 mm table. If it has a 2 m table, use the split version of the nesting included in the pack.
  • It must accept DXF or SVG files. That is the standard: any CNC software opens them.
  • A 6 mm two-flute straight bit. It is the most common one; the datasheet says if a design needs another.
  • It must work with plywood. Shops that cut MDF or melamine also cut plywood without changing anything.

2 · The order

What to send

The DXF and the datasheet from the pack are enough. You can copy this message as is.

Hi, I want to cut a design in guatambú plywood. I am sending you the DXF and the datasheet.
- Sheet: 2440 × 1220 mm, thickness per the datasheet (I will measure it with calipers first).
- DXF layers: CORTE (through cut) and PERFORACION (holes).
- 6 mm straight bit, two flutes. Compensation already applied in the file.
Could you give me your price per machine hour and an estimate for this sheet? Thanks.

Cutting is charged per machine hour. A one-sheet design usually takes between half an hour and an hour; ask for the price before bringing the material.

3 · Shops

Shops that have already cut VanCut

We add them as customers tell us where they cut. If you have already cut a design, tell us which shop and we will add it.

Do you run a CNC shop?

Leave us your email and we will send you a test file to cut. If it turns out well, we publish you here with your contact and city.

Do you cut for others? The commercial license lets you produce without limits.
